	On August 14, 2003, Elliot won the Rising Star Competition at the World Tribute Artist Championship in Fort Erie, with his Tribute to David Lee Roth. He hit a home run after performing Jump, Panama and Just a Gigolo with his wild stage antics and prat fall. A huge fan of David Lee Roth, Elliot's dream was coming true, all he needed now was a band. Loving the David Lee Roth solo stuff as well, Elliot decided to call his band YANKEE ROSE and become Canada's #1 Tribute to Van Halen & David Lee Roth. They are determined to Kick Your Azz & Rock Your Roll. Expect some DLR solo classics along with lots of Van Halen. David Lee Roth style baby!!!
